A Texas professional with a background in art and retail, Allison Franklin currently works as a buyer for The Wash Tub in south Texas. In this position, Allison Franklin chooses high-quality clothing, jewelry, accessories, and home goods for upscale retail boutiques, in addition to creating attractive shop displays. The Wash Tub operates six locations in San Antonio and New Braunfels.
Ms. Franklin has also worked as a designer for Finishing Touches, a San Antonio interior design company that helps homeowners create floor plans and choose finishes for their remodels and custom-built homes. She has assisted clients in exterior selections and landscape plans, as well as interior details such as furniture, draperies, and décor. A graduate of St. Agnes Academy in Houston, she received a Batchelor of Arts in Studio Art from the University of Mississippi. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and spending time at the beach. A wine enthusiast, she holds a Level 2 Certificate in Wines and Spirits from the London based school WSET.
